The purpose of the LUNA Foundation is to support individuals, ideas and projects that are driven by a higher purpose, in such a way that entrepreneurship, activism, creativity, environment, competence, health and social development are promoted. Special focus will be on ideas that lie ahead of their time and the renewal and development of society through feminine leadership.
Communities are developed through meetings between people. The foundation shall constitute an interdisciplinary local and global forum for human wisdom and well-being. The goal is to contribute to sustainable approaches based on a system perspective: the knowledge that everything is one, increase the balance between feminine and masculine principles through the connection Intellect – Intuition - Action, and generate knowledge of benefit to the new paradigm.
Our Founder Ina
I was born and lived my first years in the horror of war. Raised and educated in the rigid system of communist Yugoslavia where there was no space for speaking your own mind and truth. The outer world was a frightening place that pushed me deep down into inner realms to find comfort and peace.
When I was 22 years old, the pathways between inner- and outer realms cracked wide open through a near death experience after an accident and head surgery. I had a brain trauma and the doctors gave me five years to live. I studied and became a successful engineer in food science. But life wanted something different and started to express itself through vivid dreams. My inner calling was so strong that I decided to follow it, so I left my comfortable life and took a deep dive into the unknown.
After spending one year in nature, on the Croatian mountain Velebit, I met my mentor Professor Gunter Pauli, founder of Zero Emission Research and Initiatives. Through the ZERI Foundation I have worked on desertification of Mongolia and to establish bioeconomy clusters in Belgium and Brittany. In 2018 I made a project with local school in the small village of Skabrnja, that suffered the most in war in Croatia, and were awarded with Zayed Sustainabiltiy Prize in Abu Dhabi as best project in Europe.
In this picture you see me with little Ester from Guatemala from indigenous tribe Kaqchikel, descendants of Maian civilization. She wants to be president of Guatemala to help her people. She is part of MAIA high school program-''her infinite impact'' for poor indigenous families. Ester carries the same peace and infinite presence that is the very foundation of LUNA.
The feminine side of the world, sirens call to forgotten inner worlds.
The absolutely most important message that we all need to understand, is that every one of us affects our world every day. It is not possible to live a single day without affecting the world.
